Pre-admission Counselling Information

Prior to signing up for a programme, do check that you’re comfortable with how the programme is structured and delivered, the mode(s) of assessment, the timing of lesson delivery and examination (if applicable), the start date and duration of programme, the type of qualification you’ll be conferred with.

As entry requirement varies across programmes, you should check and seek clarity with your Programme Consultant / Country Manager / Recruitment Agent on the admission requirements and application procedure. Alternatively, you can visit the individual programme page on our website.

As we have 2 campuses, do make sure that you’re informed where your study location will be - City Campus and/or STEM Campus. You can also take a virtual tour of our campus and the facilities available. You can refer to the monitor around the campus for the venue of your lesson or check it from here.

As our student, you can take part in our Student Life such as student council, sports activities and many others.

Student support services are also made available to you in the area of academic consultations, administrations such as submission of medical certificates and counselling. Any form of payment pertaining to your application and enrolment can only be made to PSB Academy.

Payment of application fee can be made in cash, NETS, Visa/Mastercard at our cashier counter. If payment is by crossed cheque, the payee should be addressed to PSB Academy Pte Ltd.

Do note that payment of programme fee can be made only after the Student Contract is signed and dated. You can ask for a sample of the payment schedule that is specific to the programme you apply for.

The paid programme fee is protected under the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) by CPE-appointed service provider. This arrangement serves to protect the students’ fees in the event we are unable to continue operations due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure. The FPS certificate will be electronically sent to you. For more information, you can click here.

We have put a medical insurance scheme in place for all full-time students who enrol in a programme that is more than 50 hours or one month in the standard completion duration.

A student contract will be issued to you once your application is approved. Your Student Contract will include:

  • Course title with modules or subjects clearly listed
  • Date of commencement and completion of each intake/course
  • Scheduled holidays
  • Examinations and/or assignment dates for each intake/course
  • Name of organisation awarding/conferring the results and certificates
  • Fee collection schedule
  • Miscellaneous fees
  • Refunds for withdrawal from course

There are also student policies that you will need to know, such as transfer policy, deferment, withdrawal and refund policy. As the actual refund policy varies, you are encouraged to check with your Programme Consultant / Country Manager / Recruitment Agent.

There’s a cooling off period where a maximum refund of programme fee will be made should you withdraw within 7-working-day from the date stated on the signed contract.

Alternatively, you can refer to your personalised contract upon successful application.

You may also be able to further your studies upon completion from the applied programme. As programme entry requirement may vary, you are recommended to explore on the programme you can take in order to progress to the next level of programme of your interest.

If you are an international student who requires a Student Pass in order to study in Singapore, the following additional points are applicable to you:

  • PSB academy offers an option to apply the student’s pass on your behalf, where additional personal documents (such as birth certificate, financial proof for visa-required countries, etc) are required.
  • It takes approximately 4 weeks for a new student pass to be approved. If you used to study in Singapore within the past 3 months, we will require an attendance report from your previous institution for submission to Immigration Checkpoint Authority (ICA).
  • You are to adhere to the terms and conditions of Student's Pass set by ICA.
  • There are services provided for your convenience such as accommodation, airport pick-up and medical check-up, at additional cost. You can find out the specific cost from your Country Manager / Recruitment Agent.
